THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

Good Morning TLB friends,

We finally see the "light at the end of the tunnel!" Over the course of the last "4" weeks, hubby and I have met so many wonderful people that were all so excited to buy so many of our treasures.  It has not been "all sad," because everyone was so appreciative and excited about the treasures they were buying from us. I must say it has not been easy on us though. It's funny how attached we as human beings become attached to "things!"

I wanted to share with you a "before" and "after" photo of our living room so that you get an idea as to what hubby and I have been doing for "one month!"

Keep in mind that the entire inside of our home was painted; walls, trim etc. The tile and grout were cleaned, new carpet in the bedrooms was installed, and new cabinets were installed at the ceiling level in the kitchen, on the walls in the laundry room, and the walls in the garage......creating much needed storage for us. We also added Plantation Shutters to all of the windows. I love the warm "cottage look" they provide.

Additionally shelving is being added to all of the closets and our two bathrooms are in need of remodeling!  We're taking a short break before we delve into that project!

The photo below is what our "little slice of paradise" looked like after the movers left. Talk about "being abandoned on an island!" lol

BEFORE

The photo below shows the results of several days of unpacking and settling the living room.......on the other side of the room is the same
entertainment cabinet from Willow Point.

AFTER

We've accomplished so much since this photo was taken....but I think you got the idea. After 4 weeks.......we only have hubby's office to complete and then we're headed to the "beach!"

Have a great week friends!

Fondly,
Kathleen
