SPRING COLOR INSPIRATION

Hello TLB friends,

Our New Year will most likely bring many changes to our lives, one being the release of the Pantone 2016 Spring color selections. Since I'll be changing up some of the furniture and accessories in the new house, I couldn't wait for the colors to be released......

Below you will see a blending of the palette of colors for Spring.

The new palette provides a nice sense of calm by using the serene colors of Rose Quartz, Serenity and Limpet Shell. The deeper splashes of Snorkel Blue, Fiesta, Green Flash and Buttercup provide a more lively fun . Other colors such as Iced Coffee (who doesn't like iced coffee?), and Lilac Gray, a newish twist on traditional grays of the past work great if you are looking for more neutrals. And last but not least,  as always we will see these colors in the fashion industry, but the chosen Peach Echo is being used in place of the deeper orange color that has been seen for a few years and was embraced by many.

I really enjoy this new Spring palette. The muted serene colors along with the vibrant crispness of others, should prove to make lots of eye candy for us as we browse fashion and home decor this season.

What are your thoughts? How do you feel about the new 2016 Spring colors? What's your favorite? Please feel free to share your ideas with us, we'd love to hear from you!

Wishing you a colorful weekend!

Kathleen

  1. It's funny, I have always gravitated toward the peach echo hue for my personal, workable color. Last year in my sunroom, I went with a combination of what resembles the iced coffee, limpet shell (sea glass), with green flash accents, and really fell in love with that look. I look forward to bringing it back once the neutrals of winter are stowed away.
