I am so glad you like the painted tile idea. It is working
nicely until our budget allows is an upgrade down the road. Until then, it is fresh an neutral.

It certainly sounds like your facelift on your home turned out beautifully! It is so nice that you received neighbor compliments, I really love that. The before and after of a project can be so rewarding, especially because it did not require a huge injection of capital, just some paint and your time! It was nice hearing from you. Hope you continue to to follow my blog!!Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05484950110788265322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-266764937635931334.post-35480780951427057912013-06-28T17:57:53.659-04:002013-06-28T17:57:53.659-04:00Hi!! I love that you decided to paint the tile rather than do a demo. I always watch HGTV House Hunters and get so upset when people see an avocado tiled bathroom. The tile-work is usually great and still in good condition, just the color is out-dated.

So many times I find myself yelling at the buyers to buy the house and have it painted!! But nope, they pass up on their dream house because of a color.

It's a miracle what paint can do! When I bought my brick house, I painted some of the accents, lattice work, and foundation. Every single one of my neighbors told me that the house looked like it had a face lift. I used 2 gallons of paint and 2 cans of spray paint. The face lift cost less than $50 and only 1 weekend of work.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06215137315656117106noreply@blogger.com
